DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
April 5th - Pickup at Evergreen Center for our Comox to Vancouver flight and onwards to beautiful Zurich Switzerland.
April 6th - Arrival & transfer by Viking Coach to Lucerne for our 2 night pre cruise hotel, rest of the day at leisure.
April 7th - Day of Leisure OR join the optional full-day tour to the Top of Europe including cogwheel train OR enjoy the included city tour with Viking.
April 8th - Transfer by Viking Coach to Basel and board our ship, rest of the day at leisure and we set sail tonight.
April 9th Breisach - Black Forest scenery tour with clock-making demonstration; or optional day in the legendary Black Forest.
April 10th Stasbourg - Walking tour featuring Strasbourg Cathedral or optional Taste the Best of Alsace tour.
April 11th Heidelberg - Half day city tour featuring Heidelberg Castle & free time.
April 11th Rudesheim - Evening at leisure to stroll the Drosselgasse, perhaps sample local wines.
April 12th Rhine River Koblenz - Cruise the Middle Rhine while we make our way to Koblenz and Marksburg excursion, evening at leisure, cruise overnight with early morning arrival in Cologne.
April 13th Cologne - Walking tour & Gothic Cathedral visit; free time or optional Beer Culture Dinner tour
April 14th Kinderdijk - Tour Kinderdijk windmills, an UNESCO Site
April 15th - We arrive early in Amsterdam and will disembark by 10am, transfer included to centrally located hotel for 2 nights, enjoy walking about, shopping or day of leisure.
April 16th - Day of Leisure OR join one of two optional tours: 5hr Keukenhof Gardens and Tulip Fields Tour OR a full day trip to Giethoorn, one of the most romantic Dutch villages
April 17th - We bid farewell to Amsterdam and head back home, ending the day at the Evergreen Center
